occassional blast on the street, and a periodic trip to the strip, I recommend the Nitto 555rII. They are based on the initial Nitto drag radial, but are made more with the road/canyon in mind. The tread material is similar to the drags (100 treadwear), but the sidewall is stiffer. They come in a 245/50/16, so are almost the same size as the stock TT tire (245/45/16). They will work well at the strip (not as well as the BFGs, and not nearly as well as the MTs), and should yield some 1.8 60s with the NA diff. The traction is limited enough so you won't break anything in your NA rear. Mileage varies depending on wear, but I get consistently 20,000 miles on them. Hope that helps, Mark
